Case is personal preference

Why are you going with the dead 1150 socket CPU? I'd go with an i7 6700k

1151 socket motherboard

DDR4 RAM, and 2800 seems to be the sweet spot for price to performance. You can always overclock it higher yourself

Why would you buy 4x 500GB? Get a 250/500GB Samsung 850 Evo and a 2TB+ drive for storage

Buying such old cards like the 660 or 780 would be pointless, the 980 is worlds better and supports DX12

For ~$40 more, you can get the MSI gaming 7 which includes RAID (you may or may not use in the future), USB 3.1, OC Genie on the board and some other cool features. I have one and love it so far. It's a pretty killer board.
