Building a mineral oil PC

Hello

I am currently studying year 12(last year of school in Australia). As part of my certificate of education I am required to conduct a Research Project, and I have chosen to do mine on the effects of mineral oil on electronic components. This is why I want to build a mineral oil submerged computer.

I have already done quite a lot of research into the topic and am quite confident I will be able to do it. I have built a computer before and do not need much help in that area, mainly just the whole submerging part. Almost all of the threads and sites I read about people making these seem to be quite out dated and there is not much up to date information.

This is why I have come here, to ask a few questions. Firstly, has much changed or more been discovered about submerging a computer in mineral oil over the last few years?
I am only using very low powered equipment, should I still use a radiator and pump?
Lastly, what is the difference between a glass and an acrylic fish tank?

Be aware I may use some answers to reference in my report but I will give full credit. Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance!

Never built one submerged, though I did do some research years ago and I always wanted too (just didn't want to deal with any potential messes), so not sure what could possibly change in regards to it. I do seem to recall though that it's possible to just run the fans as-is so long as the system is sealed and completely full to prevent any air eventually churning it's way in.

As far as tanks...one is glass, the other is not.

Made me think of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqwx2XFb1fQ

Use the search function on the forum. There's been plenty of threads over the years.
