CoolMaster Centurion Black/Silver Aluminum Bezel w/ side window
2 Western Digital Caviar 200GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
Asus EAH2600XT 256MB 128-bit GDDR4 PCI-E x16 CrossFire supported
Thermaltake Toughpower W0128RU 650W PS

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4Ghz
Zalman CNPS9500 LED 92mm
Thermaltake CL-R0026 RAM Heatsinks
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit

this build is going to be used mainly for multimedia/gaming purposes, i do plan on upgrading this setup later on but for now im just trying to throw some good parts together since im on a budget, about $1,750 shipped.

My suggestion? Scrap the idea of vista 64 and get the 32 bit version. Vista 64 still has a lot of bugs with both different software and hardware.

If you do not use the 64 bit version and decide on the 32 bit version, then down size on the ram to 2 gigs, 3 at the most.

Looks great. In my opinion, I'd go with XP though... Like paratwa said Vista has alot of bugs... (well until the SP comes out)

yeah, i didnt even realize they werent both 16mb caches, thanks for pointing that out guys.

the reason for having 2 is so i can use one for the OS and all the programs and the 2nd for all my games and media. i started doing this awhile back when my primary HD crapped out, but i still had all my major important stuff on the secondary.
