First question I have is if you were to wear a pair of latex gloves would those prevent any static?
Second, I'm still not very clear on how all this electricty thing works. Everyone says stay grounded, well you aren't going to be floating in the air while building a pc so I know that they mean somethng I'm not catching. I've also heard hold on to the case before and while you install something, that would take up a hand which would make things more difficult it would seem, also if there was some static while you were just going to touch the case wouldn't it be carried through the case and into everything else?
If someone could describe what point electricity is stopped or just how it all works I would greatly appreciate it.
