Building A PC Please Help Me With A Few Questions I Have

1. Any compatability issues with these parts?
Case - NZXT Guardian 921 ATX

Power Supply - Corsair CX 750

Motherboard - MSI ATX LGA 1150 Z97 5

Processor - Intel i7 4790K

Graphics Card - Evga Geforce GTX 970

Hard Drive - Western Digital 1TB

Random Access Memory - Corsair Vengence Pro 2x8GB

Operating System - Windows 8.1

2. i plan on using ethernet and on this case and others i dont see an ethernet port........

3. the wattage calculator on cooler masters website said i need at least 530 watts and i heard getting too much power is bad but i also heard it does nothing and it seems like a smart move

The ethernet port is on the motherboard not the case. For the gtx 970 you really only need about 500 watts. If you want some headroom then go 600 watts from corsair, seasonic, xfx, evga, antec

You'll see the ethernet port on the IO shield when you install the motherboard into your case. 600w is good for this build, if you plan on upgrading the GPU maybe stick with your CX 750, other than that you'll save a couple bucks downgrading.

That should be OK, any reason you aren't considering Skylake parts though?
