hi, so I am building a pc for a friend. he will not play games. he will check email. watch movies, most probably do some photoshop work. in future he wants to get TV card so that he could get rid of his TV.
the best choice for him is to go with AMD x2 which are 60$ on newegg.
so nvidia 590 has two PCIe working at 16x, more pci slots.
570 ultra has 1 PCIe working at 16x.
of course north bridges of the two mobos are different. so is there any benchmark of which one is faster. they both have 1000mhz fsb.
do I just pay for more features in nvidia 590?
and one more thing: if I get cheap card like nvidia 7300LE will it affect how DVD play. will this video card affect speed of youtube flash videos or photoshop performance? maybe I should get an mobo with onboard card?
so besides gaming what else is good video card for?
forgot to ask : is there any reason this mobo is so cheap
