Building Computers, Warranties for Buyers?

I'm looking to start up a small home business building entry level gaming computers and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make use of manufacturer warranties.

Many of the warranties state they are non transferable, some of the warranties are only valid if the product is registered within 30 days.

Aside from registering each product myself and keeping track of the warranties for each computer sold, is it possible for system builders to provide the manufacturers warranties to customers?

Thanks in advance :)

I purchase parts to build systems for my clients. If something were to break or die then I would deal with the warranty myself. I keep invoices with everything I have done so I know whats covered and whats not.

Alright, i'll deal with the warranties myself, and give the customers a copy of the Manufacturers warranty policy so they know exactly what they're getting.

What's included in your 1 year labor warranty? Free replacements of warrantied parts?
Free Repair work?
Do you get a lot of people claiming issues with workmanship regardless of the actual problem with their computers?

Well I assume its not free part replacment, you could loose a lot of money by having that. I would say the warrenty period is how long the shortest part warrenty is on the components, for example if the board warrenty is 160 days, and everything else is 365 days, the warrenty will be 160 days.

Basically its like this. As far as the warranty goes, it goes by the warranty on the part. Most are anywhere from 3 years to lifetime. I myself supply 1 free year of labor. Covers anything except self abuse.

Well, I'll probably start small, perhaps 30 days workmanship warranty and very competitive repair prices afterwards.

Parts replacement warranty will be whatever the manufacturers warranty is for each component.
