hey guys,
for the last few years i have always had desktop pc's because i loved the flexibility of being able to chop and change as i wanted,
i have recently started using a laptop and i want to connect my 3x24" and what im thinking is to solder in lead's to connect extra graphics card ports into my old CPU from my desktop so that i can run them all and still keep up the framerates

Wait...what? You have me bumfuzzled...
how exactly is soldering leads on to your old desktop processor going to allow you to use more monitors on your laptop?

Assuming you have a vga or dvi output on your laptop, you should be able to get a triple head adapter. It would allow you to hook 3 monitors into one port, and the computer will see it as one really wide monitor. Won't help with gaming though.
