hi
today i am starting to put together my first computer, i have never even looked inside one so please forgive any questions that might seem very basic.i have watched a lot of videos on youtube to get the general idea. i have 2 questions first.
this is the cpu i have
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CP-155-IN
in all the video's I've watched the cpu has pins on them, cant see them on this one or are they covered.
second is there a order in what should go in first the psu or the motherboard, the reason i ask is if the psu went in first you could discharge your static. many thanks

Okay well AMD processors have the pins on the processor itself whereas Intel processors have the pins on the motherboard so that might be why. Also i would recommend putting the motherboard in first as the PSU cables might get in the way. :D good luck with your build

I would put your motherboard in first as your power supply unit could get in the way. Always do electro static discharge precautions before handling any components to avoid damaging them.
