Building Gaming computer

Hey guys, I want to buy a gaming computer, I may also use it for work, freelance 3d stuff. But it'll be mostly meant for gaming.
Like a year ago I mad a similar post, but due to some problems I couldn't buy it, so now I'm definitely doing it.
I want to get at least 16GB ram, and I'll be playing hi-end graphic games like ARMA III, BF4, and such, I love playing those game with everything on, so I guess I'll need a very good graphics card (or maybe 2). I'm also planning on having a SSD for my system, 250GB and a secondary regular one for storage. I think that's all for now, here's my previous build:

i7 3770K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116501
GA-Z77X-UD5H http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128545
Corsair H60 (in case you want to overclock the i7) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181015
16GB (2x8) RipJaws-X 1600MHz DDR3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231489

EVGA GeForce GTX 680 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130768

NZXT Phantom 820 Grey http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146098
Corsair AX 750 Modular PSU (should be all right for 2x 680s too) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139016

SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171568
Seagate 2TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148929

LG DVD-RW http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136254

There's some stuff that it's not in-stock anymore, so I'll need new items I guess. Also I'm in Canada, so the prices will be different.
My budget will be somewhere between $1500-$2500.

Thanks!

Just replace the i7 3770K with the i7 4770K, replace the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H with the GA-Z87X-OC and replace the GTX 680 with a GTX 780.

Maybe look at the Samsung 840 SSDs too.

Other than that, great. :good:

Did I write that original parts list? Seems oddly familiar...

Still a valid build, except:
i7-3770K -> i7-4770K
GA-Z77X-UD5H -> GA-Z87X-UD3H/4H/5H
Sandisk Extreme -> Samsung 840 Evo
Corsair AX750 -> Corsair AX760 (on sale from $180 to $120 on Newegg if you can grab that)
After you make those changes, see if you can afford a GTX 780. I think it's pricier than the GTX 680 was a year ago, but I'm not sure.

Not a big personal fan of the case, and it's $240, you could save ~$100 and throw it at the GPU. But that's a personal choice really, and a case is one of those things that can be re-used in many builds, especially if you buy very good quality.

Lol, yes you did! I just checked! Thanks again for your help!

You think that the GTX 780 would be enough? I read that maybe 2x 670 would be a great option.

I'm sure one GTX 780 will be plenty. ;)

Usually best to get one powerful card over two weaker (and older) ones anyway. :)

I'd just get the 780. It's plenty powerful enough. If you've got the money, get the Ti, but I think you'll be very happy with a 780. :)

I'm not sure about the Stealth line of Mushkin RAM, but Mushkin is a reputable brand.
I would guess the Stealth line is a sort of low-voltage and low-profile style. But again, good RAM.
