Building Gaming Desktop

I am building a computer this summer and i want to know what are the best parts.

I want a duel core or quad core processor
a good video card
air cooled
and i have a LCD monitor

I am planning this computer in anticipation for the release of Star Craft 2 there are no system specs for the game yet, but they will be high.

p.s. i will be running XP, because Vista sucks

AHHHH!!!! You posted this before I could...you took the words right out of my mouth.

All kinds of people have had all kinds of different experiences with Vista, some good, some bad. From my experience with Vista has been great, and I would highly recommended it.

Anyways, I'd say get the 8800GT 512MB (Maybe G92 8800GTS 512MB as long as you can find one that comes with a game) and wait for Intels new 45nm Quads.
