I have two broken laptops and am currently constructing a working tower out of the scrap parts, wandered if anyone can help me with a mobo prob.

Some of the parts i can use twice (RAM, HDD, monitors etc.) but my mobo knowledge is limited, is it possible to use two, and if it is is it would it be beneficial?

Plus is there anything else i can use twice that i haven't thought of?

What do you mean use twice?

They do make 2.5 to 3.5 conversion kits for hard drives. In fact, I just bought one the other day for only 5 bucks. These kits have rails so that you can put a laptop hard drive into a desktop hard drive bay.

he probably will just put them in at the bottom of his case if they dont make to much noise there

I see why they call you first time builder :P,

I've installed them with the 2.5" to 3.5" drive converter kits, the other stuff PSU, RAM optical drives etc. are all compatible just needed mobo advice, thanks :)
