Greetings. My name is Clinton and I am starting my own marketing production company. I will be producing high-quality video marketing. So I am building my computer and below you will see the specs. If you could please check it over and see what you all think. I have done extensive research, and I want to know if I am going in the write direction. Thank you all so much for the help.

QX6850?? $1200??

Price of E6850 similar to Q6600....

I had thought about going with the q6600 however, someone mentioned to me about a week ago that your programs have to be able to operate with a quad. I don't really know all that much about the differences in CPU's. So if I am running windows xp pro there shouldn't be an issue correct?
 
everything will run just fine on the Q6600 and it is showing to work better than the E6850 in video editing and such.

What you are meniotning about programs is that none are currently utilising the full power of the quad core processor. Thats something that will come in the future, when that software comes out the quad core will really come into its own and perform even better
