I am building a new computer to get up to date

MotherBoard: abit NF-M2S (Nvidia Geforce 6100 + 405 chipset)
Processor: AMD Athalon 64x2 3800+ 2x512KB Cache
RAM: DDR2 1GB 800mhz

I had some trouble posting, solved that, but I still can't get a picture on my monitor. I tried resetting my CMOS, and it is an integrated video card. There is nothing special about my monitor its a plug and play, my old computer uses it just fine...

Any Ideas?

it does not beep, I solved that problem through trial and error and help form a friend... I had my DDR2 RAM in backwards... I think that you guys are right and the CPU may be bad, do you know of a good way to check?

Ouch, hope you didn't fry the board. What beeps are you receiving now?

I don't get any beeps when I run it, I am fairly sure its not the RAM, or the Mother Board... The CPU maybe, the integrated video card maybe... thats I want to check the CPU but I am not sure how.

I dont get how your RAM can be backwards.. it wont even fit into the slot. If you just left it there hanging thats probably the reason you didnt get an signal.
