Building New Computer

Hi everyone

I currently own a Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz and want to upgrade. I am considering the Athlon X2 4400+ but I have nothing to compare it to. Any comment will be greatly appreciated. Is the 4400+ going to be more than I have now?

its gonna be a major major major improvment over ur current processor, ecspecially in gaming. if u are a big gamer there shuld be no hesitation to switch over to that processor.

if u plan on goin dual core and u can decide between amd or intel dual core. go amd dual core no matter wat, try not go glance at the pentium d.

i upgraded from ur chip to a amd 3000+ and i still saw improvement. the 4400 will be awesome.
