building pc and not starting

hey guys its been a while since i have built a computer from scratch now i got the parts:

now put it all together and all, looks fine, turn it on it turns of for a second and turns off so maybe i have a connection wrong some ware? but i cant see i have been over it heaps, are they all compatable? the only other thing i can think of is my boss (also techy) said the mother board if its touching the case it might be causing it but i cant see that it is? any suggestions

hmm found it, the case had a cable with "+5v", "D-", "D+" and "ground" took this out and it worked, any idea why it wouldnt with this in?
