Well waiting for the UPS guy with my last Newegg shipment of my CPU, build was lots of fun, i took my time, loads of room in the Gigabyte Aurora full tower case helped too. A few questions though, i have a asus p5b-e mobo and am going to use a raid 1 setup, on the mobo there is a black sata raid port, 2 regular non-boot black sata ports, and 4 red bootable sata ports, does it matter which sata ports i use? i have read the manual 100 times and it is unclear, also where does the os get loaded ? has to be in the raid set right? and on mobo i have a 24 pin power port, and a 4 pin cpu power port, the power plug from my psu has a 20 pin with a 4 pin seperate but kind of together, and then a seperate cord with an 8 pin and a 4 pin power plug, i plugged the 20+4 plug into the 24 power slot, now do i still have to plug the cpu 4 pin power plug in?

You'll need the RAID ports probably to get the RAID to work but I'm unsure of this, could somebody clarify it? The OS can be loaded as soon as you've booted up sucessfully, but if it's XP you'll need the RAID drivers installing when it prompts you to. If it's Vista then it's a stab in the dark for me...

You MUST plug in the 4 pin connector as this is essential for the system to work correctly, I think this is the one that mainly powers the CPU and fan.

Good luck with the build!
