I heard that bulldozers will probably be closer in performance to the Core i7 Nehalems than the Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge,is that true?

We don't know yet, performance of the B2 stepping is still unknown, so until released can't say

I heard the whole thing was a publicity stunt. That B0 and B1 was never meant to be released, they were only ES models, and never even gave to motherboard manufactures. Only let a few B0 get out just to throw the public/Intel off on its performance.

The release was for the APU only, they didnt want to have two new releases at the same time and the delay of Zambezi was a strategy move, not a performance issue. Since the release was closer to the SandyBridge-E and IvyBridge they just decided to get the B2/C0 stepping ready to increase the performance and clock rate.

I just heard this, so I dont know if its 100% true.

hasn't that been said since like june 7th or so when people thought it was coming out, otherwise this is serious deja-vu (don't think that's spelt right).
