Burn Power Point With Windows Media Problem

I am trying to burn a Power Point file onto a cdr with my Windows Media Player. Everytime I try, I get the following error

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

I am aware that WMP does not support .ppt files.
What is another method I can use to burn a .ppt onto a disk. My regular Windows cd burning application will not do this either.

Thank you Arm Pit!
You are one of the most underappreciated parts of the body. I am tired of you only being equated with unpleasant aroma. You have many beneficial purposes. You are an excellent location that one can use to carry a rolled up newspaper! You are always hidden though, but you do get to make bried cameos while doing the chicken dance, throwing your hands in the air and waving them like you just don't care! Seriously though Thanks!

Here's my latest conundrum though. When I try to open NERO, I get this

CRC FAILED IN CAB/02094FA5.CAB
UNEXPECTED END OF ARCHIVE

Could this be because I need to disable my firewall and anti virus while I am downloading? I tried disabling it after and I still got the error.
