Burn Video Files with Nero

greetings,

(windows xp pro, sp1+2, 3.6ghz processor, 300+ hd, 1gb ram)

...this is the first time i am attempting to burn dvd video files using nero and am "stumped". i have the files in a folder at present and used NERO EXPRESS to put them into the compliation..went through the wizard fine....

....i am ready to burn and have inserted both a dvd-rw (for a test burn) as well as a dvd+r discs. here-in now lies the problem.

...the icon for "burning" is not "lit" and cannot figure out why. i own nero outright and the discs are fine. what am i or did i do wrong?.....thanks again!

What media are you using? I

I'm not a big fan of Nero. If you haven't figured it out yet try ImgBurn. It's user friendly and a great program. I get better results with ImgBurn as well.

Have you updated it since you installed it, I,ve ran across a few burners that Nero didnt recognize till after I updated it

A lot of people have had problems updating Nero, me included. That's why I don't use it.

try copytodvd....works good for me. Much simpler interface.
