Hi, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 242MP (LCD). I recently did a defragment on my Hard Drive (Win XP Pro) and afterwards I notied that the lines from the defragment window were still there after I rebooted. They were only there faintly, but they were there.. I can only see them on a dark screen at a shade of: #333333. Is this normal?

well i did not think lcd could do that, only plasma. i would turn it off for a day and try that, if not rub it lightly.

Yea, I did another search and found that it can happen to LCD's - whether it's called "burn-in" or something else, it can still happen. The most common solutions were to use a screensaver or turn off monitor for a while.

if you do a screen saver, use one that flashes black and white. if you have epilepsy dont do this then
