Burning CD's and stuff

Well I just installed 11 updates to my computer

I now have Windows Media Player 11 and soon will watch DVD's

Now I need to burn CD's maybe even DVD's but how.

With lightscribe technology would be nice too just to try it out, since I have it

Nero is great, but you have to buy it. Other than that, I would try CD Burner.

Are you just giving your system a plug? Lightscribe technology is just a rip off to me, the result is black and white and the resolution is not great. Don't get me started on the price of the medium and the length of time it takes to burn the image onto the disc. I just find the good old texta much easily and more economical too.

There are many different ways to go about doing it. Depending on what you're actually trying to burn, you can take different steps. If music, you can probably use WMP 11 to copy onto CD's; I myself has never really had any success with WMP, but other's have. If data, you can look into many different programs. Free or paid, you can find many at www.download.com.

If you do have it and you bought your pc prebuilt, most chances are that they will have given you a software that supports everything you need to do. Burn, copy, lightscribe, etc.. If you do not, you have many things to look into such as:

A LightScribe-enabled DVD writer

LightScribe CDs or DVDs
Labeling software that supports LightScribe
LightScribe system software
