Burning fireplace on TV

What browser do you use? If you use Firefox there's an add-on called Flash Video Downloader you can use.

Install Firefox browser, then install Freemake video downloader

This will give you a simple download button on youtube to download any video in a variety of resolutions and formats.

One of the most likely to play on your tv without conversion is MP4

No way to attach your computer to your TV? I downloaded the video for my use but you could also just hook your PC to your TV and then run the YouTube video full screen from the browser.

What kind of TV do you have? What inputs does it have? Is it a "Smart" TV that has the ability to play media files? If so, what media formats does it support?

Here's a link to a whole slew of downloadable fireplace videos, you still need to have a way to play the video on your TV. http://www.videoblocks.com/videos/fireplace

If you have a Blu-ray player with YouTube capability you could go that route. Or do what was mentioud above and download the file. But I'm surprised the admin hasn't said anything about including links to downloading videos from YouTube because this site uses Adsense and Google has changed their policy now that you can't have links to downloaders to YouTube along side Googole ads. That was a new rule on Anandtech.

Use Cyberfox, Pale moon or Firefox.

I know this is a little too late, but someone else might find the above useful. My dad was doing the same thing in the frontroom, although on the computer.

Another remark: If you have a smart tv (I did not find any information about what kind of TV u have) you could use a specially designed app to simulate your fireplace ;) http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/global/internet_apps/detail/294

Probably the easiest way but of course only valid with a Smart TV.

Is that true? And if yes kind of hard to control don't you think? Interesting anyway.

On Anandtech they have banned you to post anything that talks about downloading YouTube videos when the site hosts Google ADs. I guess Anandtech is protecting their azz.
