Burning is being CRAP!

Well, First when I try to burn a music cd on my burner with raphsody or windows media player. It says there is no disc in drive E: YES THERE IS! So I downloaded active cd eracer and now it takes forever then when it was done it said failed! THESE ARE BRAND NEW 4GB CD'S! I dont no what to do! But my burner is just sounding wierd! Like making a lowed noise then stops and makes it again and again!

Are you sure you're not trying to use 4.7GB DVDs, rather than CDs? CDs come in, up to, 700MB.

If you're trying to burn an audio cd with a program like Windows Media Player 11, and you use a DVD, it would most likely say that there was no CD in the drive..

OH CRAP! It says DVD+RW 4.7GB 2Hrs

CRAP! Is there any other way of putting music on it? Like cant I convert the music to dvd files or something? All I want is to burn the cd and listen to it in my cd player! Also I burned a iso with these cd's before. So Would that mean it's a data cd to?
