burning problem

Hi guys out there,i hv a problem here..I tried to burn a 1Gb files using nero into a blank DVD and it came out the image files..How to overcome this prob ? I was just trying to copy all my songs into a dvd.. Any conclusion ?

you want the songs on a DVD to play back on your computer as .mp3 files?

if so, just create a data cd and drag drop the files then press burn.
