Burning Smell

Here's my current rig: Q9450 paired with arctic 7 heatsink Radeon HD4870, 4gb gskill ram, Antec NEO HE550.

I can smell this slight burn which I do not where its coming from as far as im concerned I have good airflow and temps.

Core Temps: 37,35,35,35c
Video Card: idles at 50-60c depending on the surrounding temperatures.

My concern is the smell and my power supply, is it powerful enough to support my computer with no problems? I dont have a whole lot of peripherals Just 1 dvd drive, 1 hdd and a firewire card.
 
ok lets say my psu died will that desotroy the rest of my components? Cus i had a psu fail on me before cus it simply wont boot up i just replaced it and it worked fine but things can happen.
 
well iheard el cheapo psus can take other things with them when they die but an Antec i dont know,i think theyre good quality its just maybe you got a defective one.

personaly i would send it back or get a new one ;)
 
antec psu's supposesably have alot of saftey precautions built in to protect ur system if it goes bezerk however can u recommend a PSU that can be bought for under 120$ ? Modular is preferred.

oh yeah one of these failed on me already so im on a replacement right now which is fairly new like 2 months old.
