Does anyone know of any good dvd burning software free on the net or even to buy that works well with vista or windows 7 ?

You could buy Nero or Roxio. Or you can try Imgburn free.

the very best free one ive tried is ashampoo burning studio 2010, and theres also burnaware its a pretty basic program but does the job.
