I would like too my my second computer but if it is better too buy it I will.I would like a AMD 4200 processor 2GB's of memory, 2 hard drive a total of 500GB'S,a good ATI video card so I can game ,SoundBlaster X-Fi Platinum Sound.Something like that.I know 9 out of 10 I will have too get a sli video card. too much money.Do you need two? thanks

I would definitely build it, the savings are potentially enormous. You really don't need SLI'd video cards, as a single 7800GTX or X1800XT will be fine.

You seem to have a pretty good idea of what you're after, what's your budget?

Build It...

Ya i would agree wit ceewi1 and maybe u don't need to go for a sli just yet...but make sure your mobo is sli or crossfire compatible that way go big for your first video card then in the future with more bling u can make a sweet sli setup or crossfire setup...i would definatly go wit a 7800 gt or gtx instead due to more pipelines and makin the comp urself is so much better and if u wanna check out my stats we have a similar comp just different cpu's and i am happy and its way cheaper...compare the exact same system on dell or alienware and u will see how much money you will save and no propriety parts either...always a plus

This looks a bit like the sort of thing you're after: http://www.computerforum.com/showpost.php?p=223771&postcount=8, although you'll be wanting 2 of those hard drives, and 2GB of RAM.

If you want to get rid of the sound card, the onboard sound is fine for most purposes. Also, you will probably find better value with a single HDD.

I would probably recommend a 7800GTX, but if you're after an ATI card the X1800XT is the top of the line.

Thanks ceewi1 and J0efrmcanada.I did not know that the 7800 gt or gtx was good.I have the part I would like too get saved on newegg.I will build it thanks.I been doing pricing where I love and they are tell me $2100 to $2600.That is too much on newegg I can get it at a much better price.

i would suggest gettting a PSU instead of relying on the case's and just have the case PSU as back up. i dont really recommend that headset. i had it and it stopped working after only a few months, and if you look at the review for it on newegg, people had the same problem. I sugest the plantronics audio 90 or something from altec lansing. also do you really need 820gb? i would think 320gb or 250gb would be sufficient. other than that everything looks good.

oh yea you might want to wait a little while becuase the new sockets AM2 is coming out and both ATI and Nvidia will have new cards coming soon.

Definetly lower the hard drive space and you can squeeze in 7800GTX or maybe a 4400+/Opty 175. Wouldnt you rather have better computer performance then hard drive space?

Other then that everything looks fine, I woukd change the RAM to this because it has a CAS of 2.0

Good powersuply, though you might want to look for one with active PFC.
