K so I'm almost done building my computer. I've got all of the following:

Now is where the real spending begins, lol.
I need to get a motherboard, pretty much set on getting the gigabyte x38 found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128066 so no problems there.
I was waiting for the 9800 GPUs to come out but it's looking like that won't happen until next year so that's out. I guess I'll get an evga 8800GT.
Now for the question: I'm waiting for the 45nm Q9450, but that won't happen until january. Should I buy a cheap dual core until then to tide me over? What are the chances that I'll be able to re-sell the one I get rid of? Thanks.
