buy now...or wait for later?

I'm building a new PC, and i can't afford the 8800 right now...so i'm either going with the 8600 NOW or ...the 8800 later...but does anyone have any idea how much the prices will go down? Should i just wait...or just go with the 8600gts...is it good enough for non-heavy gaming for the next 3ish years?

i've heard rumors that if you buy 8600 now...when 9x comes out they will refund you money if you buy a better one...ex 8800?? or is it only gonna be if you buy 9800?

What you could do is buy a 8600 from evga and if you are sure that within 90 days after buying it you can get the rest then you can exchange your video card and the difference between the card in money ( plus shipping) but this will work only within the 90 days after buying the card

Like Chupacabra said, this only works with a EVGA card. As long as you're certain the card you want will drop in price, or be released it's a Super-awesome deal. Otherwise it's just a great one.
 
I am eventually gonna upgrade to an Ultra here... I was gonna wait on the 9800's but, they come out 3 days too late for me to step up.. So, yes, the step-up program is a great idea... EVGA!! FTW!!
