Cant Afford it .

Dosen't have to run the game in max settings it just needs to be able to run them smoothly.

Why not build it yourself?

I was thinking about building it but my dad, would rather pay extra money and have a warranty and customer service.
and i would use it for gaming (not hardcore) and surfing watching movies, etc.

Building it yourself has a warranty! For example, Intel will give you a 3 year warranty. If we get the RAM, almost all are lifetime warranty. The GFX? I know that EVGA (maybe XFX?) has lifetime warranties and great step up programs.

It's either you get a $500 priced at $1000, or you build it yourself, gain experience, and get a whole better system altogether.
