Buying a laptop for a 16th birthday

Hey everyone. So my parents are going to get me a laptop for my 16th and i am really not sure what i should be aiming for. I have a lot of experience using computers, me and my bro built his computer and stuff like that, but that was a while ago.

Now i am looking to get a laptop.
I want in the laptop something that is fast, not a slow processor (i hear i3 or the new processors are good), reliable that won't ****ing breakdown, and has good graphics. I may use it for a little bit of gaming, not like anything that requires a lot of spec, just some gaming.
Price range has to be from 500-700 and a trustable company. Toshiba i hear, my cousin also has one, are very reliable and build very well, as opposed to say Acer. Also good battery life, and good graphics but within the price range.

Uhh, i am more or less looking into Toshiba (or w/e suggested), unless people can advise otherwise. I live in Canada so it would be helpful if you could provide links to futureshop or bestbuy etc.

I guess i will start off with this, I am still looking but maybe an idea.

However the graphics don't seem to good. I will be using it for typing things for school also, and would like a good display.

Any suggestions?

I have been looking at the MSI. . . i have never heard of them before, so not sure if they are really good. i looked at the specs there pretty decent, however there are no inputs or outputs like HDMI or video or s-video etc. doesn't bother my much, but would be nice.

Graphics on it look decent i guess, wouldn't want much more than that and RAM seems good along with speed. Just i have never heard of it, so any input on how they are?

Also any other suggestions?

Also not really a gaming gaming laptop. My cousins play WoW, i played it once before and liked it. I wasn't much into it but i may want to play it if i get a laptop. Just something to run the graphics at high on it i guess. But i really want it to be good for schooling also, like typing shit up and stuff.

Thanks black.

So checking out yours, and the bottom one i posted i notice yours has a HD screen and shit like that. But i still have never heard of MSI. . . I went to my local futureshop and didn't find any MSI's there so im not sure.

However, now im looking still and found these 2.

Actually looking even more into this, i came across the Dell website. Any info on dell? Are they good laptops?

I found these
http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/note.../pd.aspx?refid=laptop-inspiron-17&s=dhs&cs=19

Now i was wondering which was best. The 779 im not sure if my parents would pay that price, i would have to find out. But the 659 and 559 are close. Except the 559 has the new i3 processor and the 659 doesn't. Any suggestions?

What would be the best out of all these i posted and the dell ones.

I don't know a lot when it comes to laptops graphics cards. So I'm going to have to say that this one is better http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220694. I uses newer DDR3 RAM and the GPU has 1GB of RAM instead of 512mb. I'm not to sure about the ones from Amazon as they don't list there GPU so kinda hard to judge. I don't think the US newegg would ship to Canada, which is why they have a newegg.ca. Also the other one is out of stock and wont be back for like 2 months.
