I recently got a new GPU (Powercolor Radeon HD 6850 Single Slot Edition,)
and in order to use it your PSU must supply at least 500W. My current PSU (Which may be under 500W I cant tell because it doesn't say,) is causing me trouble like video lag and my computer has been much slower ever since putting in my new GPU.

Anyway Please suggest some PSU'S with above 500W for under $70 dollars. I need a cheap one because im saving up for a PS4.

My computer is also loud at random times and while playing games any ideas on how to fix this? I also have dust in my computer aswell.

I know im a Noob!

Thanks in advance

Clean the dust out with compressed air, you can generally buy a can for under $5. I bought a twin pack several months ago and am still using the first can.

The noise your hearing maybe the GPU fan spinning above 70% speed. They are louder, smaller fans have to spin faster to move as much air as larger fans moving at slower speeds.

Reference, I have three 140MM fans, and three 120MM fans in my case. Even if they spin @ 100% I can hear my dual fan GPU spinning over them when it's spinning @ 70-80%.

As for PSU,

Antec 550 80 plus gold certified.

OCZ 550Watt 80 plus gold certified. $14.99 mail in rebate so, $49.99

Both are priced $64.99 with free shipping. I'm an Antec fanboy, but looking over all 501watt - 600 PSU's in your price range, these are two of the better brands for under $70.

Both power supply units have over 500, five egg reviews on newegg.

Corsair builders series 600 watt PSU, $69.99 with $20 mail in rebate, $49.99 and free shipping.
939 five egg reviews.

Thanks You're very helpful i wanna buy the OCZ 550Watt 80 plus gold certified Because it glows and thats really cool. But the smarter choice would probably the 600W one

Another nice feature of that PSU, is that it's modular. Which means your really only going to have the power cables you need plugged in and not a rats nest stuffed under your empty HDD bays like I have. :D

Trust me, the case is clean now. Some reason, my now five year old son poured milk into the top of the case a few days before that photo was taken. It's spotless at this time though, I should update my photo gallery. My rats nest is under the hard drives and also behind the back panel.

Well i was looking at some of my old manuals and i found out that my PSU is 700W: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2991

Soooo i was thinking of just buying another Terabyte of Memory @7200rpm to speed up my computer but anyway should i get new fans to replace the stock ones that came with my PC or keep the stock ones and add more fans.

Also are these average temps for GPU and CPU

50c for CPU and 60c for GPU

Leave suggestions down below

Thanks in advance

When it comes to air cooling, some of the best fans can cost around $25 each. Comparing those to your stock case fans, even most replacements will be better.

Your temps seem fine, my 3570K hits 59C after hours of BF3. My GPU hovers around 68C during that time. They can go higher, I overheated my old GPU, 98.7C. glad for XFX's warranty. :)
