So I plan to make a new computer by buying all the parts from newegg.
Im just going to buy the product with the most reviews and best rating...

is this a good thing to do ? Is there more products i should be aware of that is not on newegg ?

thanks

work out what you want and then post the parts here so people can tell you whats good and what isnt.

also newegg has good prices but its a good idea to shop around and see what you can get for cheaper

Newegg has everything you need in terms of components for a new computer, the only thing they lack are a variety of case accessories and water cooling parts.

As for basing your purchase from reviews, thats fine if you are debating between an eVGA 8800GT and MSI 8800GT for instance, but you can't use the reviews for deciding which components to buy (such as a Core 2 Duo vs X2).

q6600 or q9450, ddr2, P35/X38/P45, 8800GT or 9800GTX

that would make a great build for under two grand easily.

I never go off reviews, I just get what I want, and if it doesnt work, as some have before, I can return it and get a replace or full refund. I have noticed a lot of reviews are either very biased. Everything is bound to be faulty somewhere along the line. So I recommend just getting what you need to get, any help on CPUs, RAM, GPUs and HDDs etc etc, ask here if you want. That way you can make a great buy :)
