buying an Ati Radeon 9600 Pro

i play games like

1) half life 2
2) WoW
3) need for speed series.


so tell me.. is it worth the $120?

The 9600 Pro is an OK card, but it's fairly dated... And $120?! If that's USD, that's a MAJOR rip off. For about $140 you could get a 7600GS off newegg with totally slaughters the 9600 series.

i only seen the pro at like low 60's. If you want to max out your performance get the x1950

I have a 9600 pro,Its a decent card for its age now.

Ive played Fear,Half life 2,Battlefield 2 and they all looked good.

I maxed out Half life 2 lol....no lie and it was great

but like [-0MEGA-] said,If the 7600GS is only $10 more then get that.

x850xt for about 100 us dollars are a better choice and it is 200x faster and better

or atleast get a x1650xt/7600gt
