Buying laptop

Hey everyone, I'm about to go off to college and am getting a laptop. I have two choices right now and have a pretty decent budget (1500ish). I would really appreciate it if you guys could look at it and make some suggestions about which one or if you know of any better ones. I'm planning on doing quite a bit of gaming, just for the record.

Option one

The Toshiba is 200$ more but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I would also love if anyone had other computers in mind as well besides the two i listed. Any comments are greatly appreciated, thanks again
