Buying MoBo for first time...Help!

I'm building a pc for the first time and i have decided to go with the AMD Athlon 64Bit CPU, but i'm having trouble finding the right motherboard. Any recommendations? I don't want any oboard graphics and I also wanted to know if it would be possible to find a motherboard without integrated sound as well as graphics at the same time?
 
most amd boards have integrated sound and no integrated graphics. i suggest a SLI board for future upgrades. i am a fan of asus, dfi, gigabyte and msi motherboards. the nforce 4 or nforce 3 chipsets are nice. how much are you willing to spend?

No. It comes with the board. Granted some are better than others :)
