Title says all :D Their crappy dell dimension 3000 is slowly dying and moves as fast as a rock (yes it barely moves).

I want to get them this computer, but will it come with an OS, speakers, keyboard, mouse stuff like that? (i know it doesn't come with a monitor). I am just wondering because it is refurbished and I have never bought a referb comp from newegg before.

You're bad at reading :(

If you read the specs you can clearly see that it has a os, mouse, keyboard, speakers

I dunno if its referbished doesnt say anything about it, dunno what recertified means

Looks good though, hard to say much because I dont know what type of stuff your parents do on the computer

Right from Newegg site

What are Recertified products?

Products described as “Recertified” are products which have been retested to ensure compliance with original manufacturer specifications in function and for purposes related to warranty.

Recertified products typically:

• Have never been used, where the outside factory seal has been broken. This can be due to a cancelled order for example.

• Are items returned to the original manufacturers that were used in field tests, sales displays or demonstrations.

•Products that have been returned for warranty service, which have been brought to manufacturer specifications.

• Are products that have been returned for reasons other than defect. These items are sent to the manufacturer for inspection and testing. The passing products are then repackaged as recertified.

• Are items where the box was damaged in shipment and is then returned to the manufacturer.

• May include a limited manufacturer warranty – see items product page on the website for details

well to sum it up recertified means that they just check over the parts to see if everything is in working order, and check if the stuff is there.
I have heard positives and negative about buying refurbs. and recertified computers from newegg, but it looks like a good deal.
