i want to buy a new compoter and i need some help, can you give me a Specification for the new computer,i prefer one that based on amd proccesor...
what is better for a gaming computer, intel or amd?
i have 1500$ for this computer,thank you!

Ether is ok for gaming, but Intel is better. For $1500 you can do intel i5 or an i7 many claim you don't need hyperthreading right this second, but It might come in handy for any other applications you chose to use in the furture.

i7 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070

I am. The performance should be between 7% and 20 something or 30 something % according to intel. So the choice is yours.

I am also influenced by the possibilities of the PCI-e 3.0, but its cheaper to wait for IB to be released. If it sucks buy up a SB you know they will still be around, you can buy a 1156 still today. If you buy a SB today and when IB comes out now everyone with a IB is 10-20% better off than you. 10% is a lot when you think in terms of 1 million obviously 10% of 1 mil is 100,000 but 10% of 1 is .10. If we were talking AMD here I would say 10% is not worth it. But we are talking Intel and 10% will pay off well if true. Hope Intel wont pull a fail dozer on us this year. Honestly because the hype AMD put into the bulldozer I don't trust anything until its in my hand.

Well ivy bridge is almost the exact same as sandy, just on a smaller die and tweaked for optimal performance. so it will be faster due to its architecture, on top of smaller dies i think overclocking better too, so it's going to be a beast no matter what.

But at the same time i don't think that 10% will make any difference in gaming for the next 2 or so years, after that if it's overclocked i'd say closer to 3 years. Getting Ivy might just add half to another year or so, not a huge change, but if you can wait it should be worth it, but its not going to be a game changer or anything.
