There are a few things to take into consideration before buying a new CPU heatsink and fan rig. Number one is what is the heatsink that you are using now made of, such as alluminum (the best), or a steel alloy (probably the the worst heat spreader). If your heatsink passes the "your a sweet material test" then your fan that you are buying will probably do the trick. My advice is to just stick with the heatsink that you have now and just buy this......

This fan was rated with a higher air output than a Honda Civic air conditioning unit, so it moves some serious air! Just aim this baby down on your heatsink and say goodbye heat problems. :P
