Buying RAM

Hi :) I had two of these Micron RAM chips in my computer (Packard Bell Imedia 4310):

One of them stopped working, and I need to buy a new one, but it's difficult finding a store with this ram in stock. Will it work if I buy a different RAM with the same specs? Or do they have to be of the exact same kind?

As long as its PC3200 184pin I don't see why it wont work.

Get your motherboard model number, and go to it's site. There should be a link to tell you what brands of memory will work with it.

Well I found out it's a Quasar2 (MS6786) KM400A ver 2.0 motherboard. But it's not mentioned on the MSI site, probably too old..
