hi,
When ever i unplug my computer by the mains, plug it back in and the power button will not work on the front of the computer. inside my computer there is a buzzing noise coming from the power supply and also a black round thing next to the mobo's battery. When the buzzing noise (which is not loud) stop then i press the computer on button and hey presto works fine.
My problem is everytime i take the power lead out or turn the computer off completely by the mains after shutdown, i have to wait around 10 minutes for the buzzing sound to go, then it will turn back on.
i tried a new 3V battery dint work, anyone think i need a new power supply??
or maybe the computer is broke all together??
upgraded a year ago to amd 2200+ 80gb 512mb on MSI6390 mobo
