C2D E6600 OCing

What is the best Motherboard for OCing an E6600, I heard somebody say they OC'ed an E6600 to 3.66Ghz. How??

you heard or you saw lol... you can get it up to 4ghz but it depends on luck and what your processor is capable of. not all e6600 can clock the same, trial and error if it doesnt work for you sell the chip and get another one

I see that ur running 3.66, do u have to OC to get good performance from this CPU? I have the tight-wad DG965WH (no OC capability).

it is already a powerful cpu. oc may be overkill depending on what you do on the computer.

I game alot in BF2, getting BF2142. I do a lot of gaming, but not into FEAR. I wish they would come out with a new COD series or a BF series.
I do a lot of pic editing in Photoshop, I am also impatient and hate waiting on a slow PC.

I looked at that, will it run my PNY 8800GTS 640Mb though? The only turn-off was the sound, I don't know much about it, do you? I have the 965WH and it is pretty good with Intel Audio Studio, and that's where I set my standard.
