My house is set up for cable TV with Access Communications being the provider. Would it be possible to go get a cable modem and get internet access from it?
Hmm...okay. I was wondering because one of my friends got cable internet and eventually tried plugging the cable into his TV and it worked. Thought it might work both ways.
It won't, the ISP determines the speed for your connection as well, not to mention you usually need some sort of authentication to actually connect your modem to their network, usually with a username and password.
