cache, front side bus??? wot do they mean?

nowadays most computer's CPUs are advertised with front side BUS and cache. i was just wonderin wot do they mean and r they important?

cache = yes, quite important (but size is not everything)
fsb (front side bus) = the cpus are lying to you, what they say is fsb is really something else entirely
 
front side bus speed and the bus speed are two different things and advertisers use the higer FSB to baffle people into buying the PC. Read CPU101 and it should expolain most things.
