CAD/CFD First Build (Motherboard)

Hey, this is my first time building a computer and I was hoping for some advice. I am a senior undergrad engineering student and I am building a desktop computer to last for this next year and at least two years of grad school. I think I have an idea for most of the components, but I am having trouble picking out a motherboard.

My total budget for the system is around ~1500 not including monitor, keyboard etc... I would prefer to keep the motherboard under 250$. Software I will be using includes; Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0, Fluent ANSYS 12.0, Maple 13, Photoshop CS4. I will not be overclocking any component. I want a very reliable system. Running windows.

Due to the high computing requirements of CFD software, I was thinking Intel processor, so I was looking at Intel, and supermicro motherboards. I wasn't really considering a dual processor system, but I am up for options. I am not that computer savvy, so I am a little worried about setting up the bios, so I was hoping for something simple.

Possibly:
Intel BOX DX58 SO (Core i7) ~250$
Intel BOX DX48 BT2 ~250$
Intel BOX DP45SG ~115$

Supermicro MBD-C7X58-O (Core i7) ~260$
Supermicro MBD-C2SBC-Q-O ~170$

Thanks in advance for all the help and recommendations!

Where are you from?
I personally will not choose those brand.
With $1500 budget at the moment, core i7 920 is the way to go.
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R/ Foxconn Renaissance LGA 1366 Intel X58

However, intel mainstream Core i5 will be out soon, I don't know if you want to wait.

Supermicro is actually one of the leading server brands incase you two didnt know, but in that price range i would go with a foxconn bloodrage GTI or Flamingblade tbh.
