Call of Duty 2 Demo is out!!

Just wanted to let everyone know exactly what the title says. Also, and this is me just venting, October is going to be a sweet month for games. COD2 releases as does F.E.A.R. Anyone else looking forward to these or any other games about to release?

Average ~400KB/s which is decent considering the server is overseas from here (usa).

mine was slow, only aroun d 110KBps (usually around 250KBps), probably cause everyone is downloading it. But i got an "Internet Explorer timed out message" cause i left my computer idle for a while while it was downloading.
 
I was gettin like 100KBps, so I'm gonna wait and download it overnight, like the way I used to do when I had dial up and wanted to download somthin huge (well, with 56k huge was like 10 mb.) :P
 
Holy sh*t yes!!!! I'm a huge call of duty fan, and its coming out just in time for my new system!
 
So have you guys played the demo yet or what?! Personally, I was pretty impressed. The graphics are very much improved and the sound is still phenominal. The damn british troops yelling "THOSE MG42'S ARE BUGGERS!!!!" can get a little annoying but thats ok.
 
wow. what a great demo. im not sure if i will buy the game, but that is definitly fun. unfortunatly i can only get about 23fps on max @ 1024x768 :(
oh well, very good teaser.

where you a fan of AOE or AOE2? i was a huge fan, but i will not buy AOE3, its completely different and is just like the games currently out such as empire earth. THe reason why i likes aoe2 was because there were no guns.

Anyone, back on-topic, i just downloaded the CoD2 demo, havent played it yet, but i will soon!
 
my CoD2 demo wont work, my pc specs are fine but i keep getting the blue screen of death. i loved AOE2, i knew aoe3 was coming out but didnt know when or what it would be like!

Hell yes! Quake4 ;). Release date is Oct. 18 I believe. The quake series is what got me into gaming on the PC.
 
i downloaded the demo yesterday, and played it.
i think im going to buy CoD2,.. and even Cod. ( have never played that game either. :P )

anyway.. i had 30fps average ( with fraps turned on) and everything on highest settins. (aa 4x)
 
Well I also downloaded the demo and gave it a play. It's pretty good actually :D. I've not played the first but I too will prob. own this one anyhow. I also get around 30fps average on highest settings and antialiasing and all. Suppose my rig could use and upgrade here and there :(.
