Call Of Duty 4 PC Profiles

I formatted my C: but my Call of Duty 4 game is installed in D: I can still continue to play the game but my multiplayer ranks and weapons are all gone.

Is there a way to get them back? Or do I have do it the old school way.

A game save wont help the profile that you have lost is tied to your game and cannot be replaced by another persons im afraid you will have to start again ,to avoid this happening again you need to make backups of your player folder you will find the player folder in the activision folder in the c drive.
 
Nope, Everything is saved Client Side, which is a real stupid idea if you ask me! I was hoping that 1.6 Patch would make it all server side, and have a log in, but it didn't...

There isn't anything you can do to get your profile back, You'l have to do it again. But, Make sure you make back-ups of the 'mpdata' file every now and again ;)

Why don't you join the [CF] Clan while you're here, We play CoD4 :)

I found my data guys thanks for the help.
it was named mpdata.corrupt
i just had to delete the ".corrupt"
and it was back to normal

wow the cf clan site is awesome
do we use our computerforum name
to join?
