Call of duty 5 world at war

i just watched a tralia for Call of duty 5 World at war on the call of duty site it looked rely cool does anyone know a release date?
 
anyone else disappointed that they went back to world war 2??? after the success of CoD4 and how awesome it was compared to the others... this whole world war 2 thing has been beaten to death.
 
There are 2 seperate teams that create the Call of Duty series. Hence the speed they release them

Team 1: made 1,3 and is now making 5
Team 2: made 2 & 4

expect 5 to be sub par...

Bummer. Didnt know that. Thanks for the update.
Hopefully they can turn their reputation around.

I personally am kinda excited theyre going back to WW2. If they didnt, itd pretty much just be a patch for COD4. Its too soon to make another modern day cod. But, im definitely stoked and hoping i wont be let down.

it'd be like an expansion, i wouldnt mind that TBH as long as they released more Guns and Maps.

but i cant wait for CoD5, I was a HUGE fan of CoD:UO, much more than i am of CoD4, WW2 games > Modern Warfare games.

Wrong : well sort of
Infinity ward: made 1,2 and 4 (i know cause im looking at all 3 boxes on my shelf)

(just found out infinity ward has only made those 3 games and was founded by 22 former employees of 2015 (the people who made Medal of Honor: Allied Assault))

Treyarch a Subsidiary of ACTIVISION have made

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One

Call of Duty 3



these were both console titles (less to work with) and yes they were below par for the series.
they also made Call of Duty: United Offensive
now making: Call of duty :world at war
i do have my doubts about this game, but this time they have a better dev package and there using Activisions COD4 engine so it could really come into its own this time
maybe or maybe not ?

^^I would imagine. But i have nothing back that statement other than DX10 seems to be the next step in gaming.
 
Hm I really like WWII games. Modern games are fun, but just doesn't seem as good as WWII ones IMO. Futuristic ones usually turns out horrible, at least I don't like them.
 
It'll just be like every other WWII game, AMAZING when you first play it, than day by day it gets less interesting, until it's just another game sitting in it's case collecting dust.
