Call of Duty Probs????

well i just bought a call of duty game (brand new) now i am new to the whole gaming thing and here is my prob.

multiplayer loads and works fine but single player does not work.......i have uninstalled and installed it about 3 times and .....nothing...plz help

Are there any error messages?? Do you have the CD in? (may sound like a stupid question but you'd be surprised how many people forget) because multiplayer doesn't require the CD but single player does.

yes the cd is in and yes i do get an error code....this is what comes up as the error message C:\DOCUME~1\TYLERH~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\6813_appcompat.txt

what version of CoD is it???

i had problems with CoD (original) but nothing like that!

Try downloading tha patch and see if that works. It should be somewhere on www.activision.com
